Perhaps Cabrillo Beach

Lots of parking
Easy Entry
BBQ facilities
Playground for the non divers
Tidepools
Freeway close
Absolutely nothing to see other than sand dollars. This way folks can concentrate on the product.

Then a great family aquarium 100 feet from the beach that has an optional donation entry fee.
