There is a whole host of things you are doing wrong. You need to understand how to use the camera in manual mode, adjust the flash and exposure, aperture, and shutter. You also need to learn to do a manual white balance on a flat white or flat gray surface.
The camera is capable of taking very good pictured in the hands of someone who knows how to use it.
A new camera won't help. You need to understand why you are unsuccessful first.
