I'll buy that to a large degree, but I get decent pics with very little effort using my MX10. I also get good pics with the digital above water. I am quite capable of adjusting the flash, aperture, and speed. Supposedly I know the theory quite well and have put it into practice with my Canon SLR and the MX10.
As far as White Balance, I have read on the BBS about manually setting it on a white board UW. Supposedly it changes a lot with depths. I have found 5 White Balance settings on the camera. What I have not found and what was not mentioned in any of the articles Chuck sent me to, was a manual White Setting. That was what also surprised the Pro Photog that looked at the camera for me. Frankly, I do not think there is a Manual WHite Balance setting. ?????
Actually, I think Elaine has a C-60...
Enjoy, seahunt
