Saturday must have been a "bad hood" day...after I had walked down to the beach at Redondo and was getting ready to put on my hood and gloves, I found that I had no hood ... dropped it somewhere along the way. So with weight belt on I hoofed it back up to Vets park only to discover just asphalt. "Gads" I thought, "it'll be a chilly dive now"... I then happened to spot a friend who had just returned with his OW class. Voila! one of the students had found it! Although it was a nice little workout, I'll definitely double check that the hood and gloves are secure as I trudge to the beach. Great conditions - just wish there was more to be seen yesterday - lots of squid egg casings, though.
