No matter the boat, running a dive boat and caring for the health, happiness, safety and well-being of 6-40+ people is unusually difficult, challenging and frequently less than profitable work. 14-16 hour days are the norm, and boats, as everyone should be aware, are troublesome, cranky and expensive to operate at best. We all struggle to make ends come close to meeting and I agree that the slander and petty attacks on the boards, whether against the boats directly or indirectly via those who work the boats, is less than helpful, not to mention childish. You have to wonder about the goal of the slanderers. Would they prefer to not have dive boats in SoCal? We owners and operators need to support one another and divers need to support the boats, as so many do, if we are to keep this industry alive locally. Let’s keep the boards for useful and interesting stuff, not sock-puppet inanities. Peace is a great boat. The off-the-bow giant strides are a blast and few boats have better menus. Thanks for all your hard work. Kyaa
