I must say in 30+ years, I can't recall seeing a 'berried' lobster, e.g. one carrying eggs in her swimmerette during lobster season. They often have the packet of white sperm on their abdomen this time of the year and their gonads (red organs inside) are quite robust but eggs, not in my experience. Has anyone seen females carrying eggs this early?

And yes, I'm going to add hoop nets to the text for next season. Why not.
