Point Dume photos |
Posted by scottfiji on March 09, 2006 at 22:50:38: here are some photos from my dive today at point dume pinnacles! vis was a surprising 15ft, up to 20ft some places.. particles in the water though. I took a lot of video, saw a giant bat ray, lots of cabezon, a few sunflower stars, and I found my first sweet potato (a kind of sea cucumber), buried under the sand! There was a blazing rip-current directly off-shore due to wind, lets just say I won't be diving point dume again during high winds....enjoy! starfish & white sea cucumber & urchin corynactis gopher rockfish sunflower star cabezon cute starfish shawl in high-current area zooanthid anemone my first sweet potato sighting, it was buried point dume entry... looks are very deceiving |
