All the advice given in the other follow-ups is well heeded. We dive from my boat often, and always check the anchor on descent, resetting if necessary. We also have a 100' current line (use a bumper for a float) and ALWAYS watch the prevailing current. Here's a hint...if the current is causing a wake off the boat bow or vortices at the back, consider relocating!
