A couple of years ago I was working in San Diego, and a couple of co-workers and I decided to dive La Jolla cove. One of the guys rented his gear from Sport Chalet down there. We suited up and did a long surface swim out, maybe a hundred yards. We started to descend but the renter did follow us down, so we had to go back up. He'd left his Sport Chalet weight belt on the beach. We waited for him to swim get the belt and swim back out, and during our wait we made up a little jingle that we serenaded him with as he returned all worn out. It went something like this:

"Scott Chalet, he'll surface swim forever!" - sung to the Sport Chalet theme.

Ah, I crack me up.
