I dive with Jack's every time we go out there, and I've found most of their divemasters to be really knowledgable and enthusiastic about the marine life, especially some of their photographers. If you don't like going out on their standard boats, they also have a 6-pack (the Blue Dolphin). I'd try signing up for a trip on that boat before you give up on Jack's altogether! I've had some of my most memorable dives on the Blue Dolphin, often just with one other couple on board (frequently locals).
