I do remember that several years ago the Sand Dollar had a lot of mid week multi-day trips. To participate in the Chamber Day would have required that he cancel a two or three day trip - that would be expecting alot. I also believe that he contributed cash to the event - but I could be wrong.

Either way - it is a personal decision. If divers don't like the fact that someone or a boat does not participate they always have the choice of not patronizing that particular boat. The marketplace can work.
