You're correct on both counts.

The Sand Dollar has a charter group that takes Tuesday-Thursday for that first week in May and doesn't want to move their date. We also pitched the group (I think they're from Arizona) on the idea of adding $85 to their charter price, doing Wednesday at Catalina as part of the event, and participate that way. They declined.

Even though the boat doesn't participate, Ken Peters has usually made a donation to the Challenge under his business name of "Diving Charters, Inc. - Sand Dollar."

Hope that helps clear things up. However, it seems we have this same discussion every year.
