I met the Great Escape yesterday to pick up an item from Elaine and got to meet Eric Sedletzky finally. If anyone is interested in diving a backplate, I highly recommend trying his. It is the most comfortable plate I've ever worn. The edges are curved inward and so it hugs closer to your body and is actually more streamlined than other plates.
It was also nice catching up with Jon Davies, who I see often, and Gregg Elliot and Pamela Driver, whom I don't see enough. I miss having the boats at 22nd Street. Plus anytime I get to see Elaine is a bonus. :-)
