Ha ha ha, there's no cell reception up there, reception stops just west of Santa Rosa as you get into the hills. The only spot I've gotten reception a few times is standing out at the very west edge of Gerstle Cove parking lot, and if you turn wrong or the wind blows the wrong way you lose it.

Actually the conditions can be very flat and beautiful on this coast, and when they are it is really gorgeous both above and below.
And the hikes aren't bad either. They are not as far a hikes as Socal spots but I think they may be steeper with more rocks. It's the underwater structure that is the beautiful thing up here that Socal lacks.
