It's about 7 lbs. with the plate, all the stainless D rings/ keepers, belt buckle, s/s cam buckles.

I know this is getting old to keep hearing it, but i'll be glad to do a demo for you and a group of friends if you like free of charge of course. I've decided to offer this thing direct to the public and skip the dive shops, so the demos are important to get people to see and try them.
