Yes, both common local species (A. californica and A. vaccaria) form mating circles and lay eggs that look like Antonio's Mamma Mia's Day Old Spaghetti. I once filmed BOTH species mating in very close proximity, each with their own mating circle. Reminded me of the Love-In's in the 60's.
