I bought a twin hose "bubbles out the back" Mistral reg and used it for the first time over the weekend at San Miguel. It breathes oddly... just like a rebreather. The effort needed to suck air changes with your position in the water. The setup seemed to help me get a little closer to the fish and it is great not to have a bubble stream obscuring the view. Overall I like it but would recommend that you try one first if you have any interest in getting one.
