Max, I was always under the impression (and the 'bath' maps I think show) that the nutrient rich upwelling at Long Point (in particular) are due to its (closest) proximity to the near offshore shelf/deep-drop that is more south/west of the point, ...then from the Canyon to the North, though the canyon and shelf/drop are at a simmilar depth....I understand the 'prevailing' current, BUT is it 'from' the canyon you think that LP/OML is Sooo RICH?? Sea ya in the morning, yawn...Ross, any insight?
