I felt that all familiar wonderfull burn around my face from the icy refreshing water. The ocean was in the mid 40's from the cold water upwellings and that's where the clean water comes from.
So I don't want to hear about how cold it is in Socal because it's not cold. I was diving in a 7 mil freediving wet suit too and was fine.
