A spearfisher takes one fish, it's one fish he targets and takes. A typical consumer eats one commercially caught fish, that consumer doesn't think about the bycatch (often immature fish and inverts) that's killed and tossed aside to land him that commercially caught fillet. Until we all turn vegetarians and walk to work, I'll rather have the selective spearfisher over the indiscriminate commercial or hook-and-line fisherman any day.
