I'm leaning toward a mako as the caudal matches, but the ones I've seen before (blue water) were really fast and darker colored thanthe two 'cruisers' we observed.

I'm glad they decided to make a few passes, as the first path was "holy sh*t - that's something I haven't seen before!", the second "hmmm - why aren't they swimming off?", and the third - "wow! this is too cool".

I had thought about bringing my camera to try out the replacement strobe, but thought "just have a fun day and sightsee". Always see the most interesting things when I don't have a camera!
