Andria Doria diving on todays Disc Channel

I think it was on the Disc Channel.....

Today I watched an hour long segment of divers diving the Andria Doria. Looked like most were diving twin 100's with dual bailout bottles.....

The narrotor said their profiles were about 225' for 25 mins.....

One thing I noticed was the lead divers and narrator was diving an Inspration CCR with two additional 19 cf top and bottom slung bottles......I don't know what mix the oc divers were using but a couple of 19cf bottles seems rather weak for the CCR diver....ay least the OC guys were slinging 40 cf tanks...

The ship looks pretty decayed.....anyway it was an interesting dive show.

I was watching the DISC Channel 3 days ago at Circuit City where I was eyeballing my next HiDef flat panel plasma porn aquisition and a segment called Blue Realm came on....the videography was just stunning. The short portion I got to see was CCR divers diving with huge mantas at San Benedicto Island I think.....visibility looked like it was well in excess of 100 feet.

I found the DVD's on Amazon and ordered the whole set used for $5.95! New they are like $12....
