But you're right how it has worked well with cars. Now eveeyone loves paying additional taxation without representation in the form of much higher "registration" fees, and now everyone is a good driver, there are no car crashes, nobody drives drunk or under the influence of drugs, and as a result of such magnanimity from out benevolent leaders, we now live in a socialist worker paradise-like utopia. Once they tax boats, then they will tax scuba diving, then they will tax riding your bike, then they will tax food, then they will tax the Internet, then they will tax.....
