I went back today to see if I could find any in the daytime. Merry worked as spotter and holder of the kelp. She found five different species in less than ten minutes.
Three Polycera atra nudis on one kelp frond

Melibe leoninas

Janolus barbarensis and an unknown nudi

Janolus barbarensis

Hermissenda crassicornis
