Sean Dyer and I did 3 great dives in La Jolla this weekend. We started with a night dive sat. night at the shores, where we had 20ft+ vis, and saw lots of marine life. 3 large horn sharks, a large halibut, squid, many nudis, octos, and many fringehead made this a nice dive.

I also made a nice video from the dive, check it out! http://www.scubapost.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1935 (clickable link below)

Polycera atra

Sarcastic fringehead. We were able to watch 2 fringeheads feeding on small animals for a while.

Navanax

Snail crawling on the back of a large Halibut

The next day we did 2 dives at scripps canyon, where there is a wall that drops from 80ft straight down to 250ft. what an incredible dive! 40ft vis made it nice. Lots of rockfish, 14 nudie species, swell shark, wolf eel, and a giant salp made the dives nice.

Sean took this photo of me, videotaping the Giant Salp.
