A friend of mine from Texas got a rude intro to SoCal beach diving today as the surf zone swallowed up her jetfins (large, with spring-straps) and her weightbelt (about 25 pounds hard weights).

All the gear has her name, Laura, on it. It's appreciate being informed of any recoveries. Thanks.

For a 'point last seen', as you're facing the ocean, left of the stairs but slightly to the right of the first life guard tower.
