I feel your pain brother.
I have an original bathroom from 1975 that I know the floor under the shower is completely rotten. I have been dreading getting into it because I know it means a complete floor and stringer rebuilt. But soon I will get brave and take a deep breath just like I do when I go for the record freedive and don the sawzall and make that first cut into the shower stall and expose the foul, fetid mess that lies underneath!
Then my diving days will too be over.
At least until I call my buddy and just pay him to do it.
We have lot's of good contractors to choose from up here!
