All I've done is to reweb it, put on a new tank cam, and replace the well-worn horse collar with an 18 # Oxycheq wing (Chris G's recommendation). Yes, it may outlast me. I DO like your plate design and you picked an excellent wing to go with it. Your plate is SO streamlined - its all you need for typical rec diving. How would the 1/4 aluminum compare to the SS for being warp resistant? Keep us posted on your carbon fiber plans...sounds interesting.
