Local divers can try Redono Canyon. A group of us from my club (Sole Searchers Dive Club) went night diving there on Saturday, and found the vis to be 20-30 below 33fsw. Above 33 fsw the vis was a beautiful 3 feet or less. Right now there are lots and lots of crabs in the canyon. My buddy and I watched a large crab aerate her eggs on her belly. Just like what you see on the National Geographic channel.

Lots of swimming crabs, red rock crabs, and some sheep crabs. Also, lots of small fish, several small octopuses, cusk eels, rock fish, flounders, sand dabs, baby hornsharks, thornback rays, and several large sea stars.

Have a good dive!
