I may have been premature in my posting. I never heard the original sound. Seeing that I 'Surf' with the speakers off. I hate to say this. It goes against the grain. But, I like the pinging. Though, I wouldn't have turned on my speakers, if I were not prompted to do so. You may want to prompt your 'public' to turn on such speakers.
