Osborne unkown (at least to me) stuff - can anyone help with ID

I've been going over the Osborne photos almost with a microscope looking at the small stuff - as best as I can see it - it is all wide angle. Most of what I see looks fairly expected. I don't know the names of everything but I know it by sight. Except this. It almost looks like an orange hydrocoral or something. Does anyone know what it is? This is a small crop of a much bigger image.
