Like tleemay said, PLG was bought and totally remodeled into a very upscale hotel called the Cozumel Palace. Hurricane Wilma did a job on the new hotel, but everything has been repaired and it's up and running. IMHO, it's a place to take the non-diving spouse or spend a honeymoon, when money is no object. I think you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere on the island; just my $0.02.
