Come Enjoy Southern California’s Finest Wreck, USS Palawan with the Pacific Star!

The Pacific Star is offering a special trip to one of Southern California’s finest wrecks, USS Palawan, just minutes outside Redondo Beach Marina on June 24th followed by another legendary trip to Catalina’s front side on June 25th.

Saturday, June 24th - The Palawan is an enormous World War II liberty ship sunk in 1977 as an artificial reef.  At 441’ long and 57’ wide, the sheer size of this underwater wreck is an awesome site by itself, not to mention the abundance of rock scallops, lobster, and lingcod that inhabit this wreck. Numerous photo and hunting opportunities; Guided tours are available on this advanced dive ranging from 75’-130’.  We’ll depart Redondo Beach Marina at 9:00am for our 2 dive trip returning by 1:00pm.  Snacks and Lunch are included on this ½ day trip.

Sunday, June 25th – Conditions on the west end of Catalina have been phenomenal with surface water temps near 70 degrees and exceptional water clarity. Boarding starts at 6:00am for our 3 dive single day trip to the front side of Catalina Island. Depart Sunday morning at 7:00am, return by 5:30pm. $105.00

Dive the USS Palawan on June 24th for only $75.00 or go to Catalina Island on June 25th for only $105.00.  Why not book both trips, enjoy the afternoon beach activities and night life at beautiful King Harbor, and stay overnight on the boat. Of course, prices are all inclusive food and air fills; Nitrox available at additional charge.
