Granted that MHK is a more experienced and better trained diver than I. Most likely he will always be so. I had to go back and read his post a third time. Yeah its not so bad. If it were his first post. I think many like myself. Either do not read his posts or just quickly glance over them. Because of past posts that were unnecessary ugly and rude. Which is a shame. I for one could learn more than a few things from MHK. I will not deny I have adopted some DIR technigues into my diving style. I think many non-DIR divers have. They judge the usefullness of something and if they feel it has merit. Use it.I suspect Elaine views any post from MHK. As just another shovel full of crap on a huge pile. That started building up long before I came to this website. I do not think one can judge this conflict on a single post, but upon many over a long time.
