I am not a conciliator, I am an observer. Michael was not ignored. Some ideas he pushed were accepted widely like the backplate or considering dive gear to be life support equipment. Some was rejected like the wide spread use of mixed gases. He was listened to and people made their choices. That's a good thing outside cults.
Kane tells people how they must dive, his way. I tend to not advise a lot, especially not my way.
Who says I'm unbiased? No one told me that. It would be rather uncharacteristic. Also, Michael has always pushed a view of US and them, DIR and strokes. He never left room for "no opinion".
Free and Open as in people can put or take what they want from it. Frankly, I see nothing wrong with any of this. Michael has offered an opinion. Others have offered opinions. And the History is unforgettable.
Enjoy, seahunt

PS. You sure use the word conciliator in an odd way. I did not offer any mediation to anyone.
