Malibu Campout!

The second annual Malibu diving campout will be Friday-Sunday Oct. 13-15 at Leo Carrillo State Park campsite -- everyone's invited!

The first one last year was a great weekend (despite the less-than-stellar dive conditions and less-than-welcoming campsite employees). This year we're staying at a better campsite and conditions can only get better!

I'm hoping that the many of the same group from Northern California including Eric Sedletzky will be coming down again to join the party, bringing their excellent culinary skills and perhaps some fresh abalone. This is a great family event, with as much emphasis placed on eating and socializing as the diving, so non-divers and kids are most welcome.

In addition to the beach diving, if there's enough interest, we might organize a group boat trip to coincide with the campout (more details to follow).
