Kinetics and narcosis?
Can anyone tell me the effect of kinetics on narcosis? That is, there are people who bounce dive to extreme depths but remain no longer than a few seconds. This group would include freedivers and some spearoes on scuba. They complete required safety stops on the way up.

The question is how long it takes the various gas mixtures to permeate into the relevant tissues and then cause impairment.
