... while saving our air for a dive ... and going where the boat doesn't go ... also good for finding a site from the surface ... can't be beat for surf entries or exits ... can also be handed to a sea lion to play with (otter's was returned when the lion was done playing) ... as for drag - not really; just keep away from the 'dry' variety ... simplicity is best.
