Just navigate and stay out of the kelp.

To find a site from the surface (is the vis EVER that good?) just
roll on your stomach, look, roll back,

Surf entries and exits should be done with the reg in your mouth.
If you get dumped, the reg keeps working.

I don't miss my snorkle one bit. I do keep it on the boat in case
we get a chance to snorkle with dolphins.
