Its OK to buy on-line (and I do buy on-line for things like some fins I like, gloves, masks), but you should do all your research there and NOT use an LDS for ideas and ESPECIALLY NEVER to "try it out"! And if you buy direct, deal with the recall direct.

If I can find an item at an LDS and they take the time to show it to me or have it in stock, I'll buy it there - to go online or to another store is unethical.

Also, Reefseekers, California Dive Company, Hollywoodivers have very generous return policies - well worth the few extra bucks.

BTW - all dive shops shold think about carrying a wider selection of women's semi-dry suits (thinking Pinnacle Polar)...otter wants to try one on without ordering it. Not all women dive with pink!
