Kev, it's not the philosophy that everyone is upset about, it's his history on this and other boards. He has called everyone morons, strokes and every other derogitory name he could think of, told them to grow a pair, used profanity on a family board and whined when his posts were edited or deleted and is now trying to come across as the Savior of Diving. He has been saying the same broken record for five years. We get it. He doesn't need to keep repeating it. Divers are not dropping like flies because they wear a BC or dive Osborne on air for five minutes.
One of my favorite George Irvine quotes about MHK is when GI said Kane reminds him of a guy he saw on Wheel of Fortune who turned all the letters and still couldn't solve the puzzle.
He may come across as someone who cares about diver safety to those who have only met him in the past year or two, but I suggest you read the archives on the Gavin list, rec.scuba and here to see the real MHK. A leopard can't change his spots.
