WHAT IF?
What an interesting concept. Let’s explore that little sentence for a just little while.
What if the Captain of the Titanic had been awake when the crew saw the iceberg?
What if someone had assassinated Hitler?
What if JFK had lived?
What if we had won the war in Viet Nam?
What if we had nuked someone for 911?
What if, Elaine had died at Osborne Banks?
What if, Chris, Steve, Magnus, Steve, Rob, Tim, Kendel, had all died at Osborne Banks?
None of this happened. None of it. One can “What If” till the cows come home, and the answer will always be the same.
There is only one, and one only fact here. I have taken divers to Osborne Banks 4 times. Not one single person has ever had an incident here. There is no reason to believe that in the future there will be an incident. If you believe that we run an unsafe trip to Osborne Banks, by all means do not go.
If we were to ban a place be the frequency of dive accidents then the under water park at Catalina has to lead the way. And by the way, most of the accidents and deaths there happen in less that 80’. The one thing about diving is the ultimate decision about the safety of the dive is you. NOBODY OR AGENCY, JUST YOU!
