my girlfriend and I just rented tanks, $5 each at puri mada. bali coral wanted $7.50, paradise wanted $15 for the 1st tank, $5 for each additional. I thought the rooms at puri mada were the best. also, they rented a car for me to dive kubu (only $10), and also arranged private boats for me ($7 a dive) for bata kelebit. the drove me to the dropoff on scooters.

almost all places will try to make you go with a guide, since then they can charge lots, lots more money! just tell them you dove there before. you don't really need a guide for any of the sites. just make sure you have the "diving bali" book.

if you dive with puri mada, just give them a huge tip at the end.
