You do not need a dive reservation to kayak Pt. Lobos. There are
four "boat" reservations per day, in addition to the 15 dive
reservations. Note: divers do not need a "boat" reservation to
bring a boat, just a dive reservation. See

rule 9.

Or you can launch the kayak at South Monastary and kayak in.
Note: it is not OK to dive Pt. Lobos from a kayak launched outside
the park without a dive reservation (and much prearrangement with
the rangers).
