It's best to use copy and paste on URLs. Nobody can type them
correctly even most of the time.

Copy: Highlight the URL with the cursor. Press Ctrl-Ins or Ctrl-C
(which depends on the browser).

Paste: Then put the cursor where you would type the text and press
Shift-Ins or Ctrl-V (again, depends on the browser).

If there's a link on a webpage, you can often right mouse button on
the link, then left mouse button on Copy Link Locattion to do the copy.

This works for lots of other stuff too, and will save you lots of
typing and even more typos.
