I've only been on two Socal dive boats, the Peace and the Great Escape.
I tip $5 per dive so on a 4 dive day trip they get $20. On the Peace I do the 2 day trips and they get $40-50. I think this is fair.
On both boats the service, as far as I was concerned ,was fantastic so they got the tip. If the service was bad and the crew was rude and didn't want me there then they would have gotten nothing. With me there is no in between.
