I think a lot of it is that I stop thinking about my breathing, diving, skills and trim and just think about the shot. I also tend to stay in one place for a long time. Some buddies might say an eternity. :)
Even when I'm swimming back to the beach or anchor, I tend to move slowly while looking for more photo ops.
