Elaine, have you thought about loading up your gear and biking to the dives?

I used to dive with a guy who would ride a Honda motorcycle from the Valley to the dive boats – San Diego, San Pedro, Ventura, Santa Barbara, it didn’t matter.

He’d totally dress out as for a dive – wetsuit, weightbelt, and twin 72’s completely rigged. Hood and mask would be on with the only concession to the 405 being steel-toed MC boots.

Let me tell, you, driving along side him as he’d head for San Pedro on a Friday night, the looks he got from passing drivers were priceless.

Despite the fact that you’d be wearing a drysuit, I’m sure you’d turn more heads than he did. Plus, if you had you big camera already rigged – arms & strobes – and had it on a rack behind you, it’d kinda look like you were giving a spider crab a ride on the back.

Oh yah, you really ought to do this one…
