I appreciate all the work that Rhonda Raye did on the background of the Grunion crew so many years ago.
However, I recently changed my Uncle Ryder Mathison's data to the correct home town and enlistment state.
I changed this on the Bowfin website. His hometown was Sioux City, Iowa, not Chulla Vista, where he was based with his wife. Also, he enlisted in Sioux City, Iowa. I have a newspaper picture of him, his brother, and other enlistees in the Sioux City Journal, undated, where they enlisted.
I appreciate Rhonda changing this correctly on the crew list. Thanks again, and we are following your updates daily.
