If you over 18, how many hours of driver training doest it take to get a drivers liscence? How many hours does it take to get a single engine pilots liscence? By following the logic of more hours of training is safer, then no dive acidents should not happen with experienced divers. The more you drive, the less likely you will have an acident? Diving while safer than driving has risks. It is personal responsibility that makes a safe diver or a safe driver. If you personally can't acknowledge your own limitations, then maybe you shouldn't be doing that activity.
